With over one million visitors per year, the MMFA is one of the most frequented museums in Canada and North America. With their original scenographies, its temporary exhibitions meet artistic disciplines (fine arts, music, cinema, fashion, design) and are exported throughout the world. . Its rich encyclopedic collection, spread through five buildings, includes international art, world cultures, contemporary art, decorative art and design as well as Quebecois and Canadian art.
In addition, numerous medical and community professionals join their efforts and expertise to reinforce the development of art-therapy at the MMFA, especially thanks to the art-therapy workshop, the medical consultation room and the art hive of the Museum.
